“It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.”
— St. Francis of Assisi
Mission – The Bereavement Ministry at St. Francis Borgia walks with grieving families, offering prayer, compassion, and support. We bring Christ’s love and hope through assistance with the Funeral Liturgy, words of comfort, and ongoing care.
Vision – We are the parish where no one grieves alone, and every family finds healing, hope, and the presence of Christ through our faith community.
How We Serve
- To accompany families with compassion during times of loss.
- To assist in planning and celebrating the Funeral Liturgy and Mass.
- To provide ongoing comfort through cards, prayers, and parish remembrance.
- To connect those in grief with resources for healing and counseling.
- To witness Christ’s love by being a supportive presence at funerals and memorials.
- To help and plan the All-Souls’ Day Mass celebration in remembrance of our beloved departed.
