Coordinator of Religious Education
Meet our Coordinator of Religious Education
My name is Malgorzata Chrzaszcz. I was born in Poland. About 36 years ago, I came to Chicago.
I am married and have two children.
I work as a Polish language teacher and Religion teacher. I have a lot of experience of working with children. For me, children are very important -their education, safety, and health. I finished the Catechetical course asa Religion teacher in 2017. Wanting to deepen my faith more, I went to study at the University of St Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, IL. I finished 3 years of studies as a Coordinator of Religious Education.
My dream was to educate myself as a catechist, deepen my faith, pass on the Good News to children, youth and adults and learn about the beautiful history of the Church. I thank God very much and I am grateful for everything He has done for me.
God bless you.

WELCOME Students, Grades 1-8
St. Francis Borgia Religious Education Program aims to create a climate for faith development by providing a stimulating and supportive atmosphere in which a child is free to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ. We believe in the power and relevance of Catholic religious education. Our Religious Education Program should lead our families to worship and prayer, participate in community-building efforts, and motivate our children to Catholic Christian living and service among the future adult Church.
Classes meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
RCIA is designed for those considering joining the Catholic Church by celebrating the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist) at the Easter Vigil. The process welcomes adults who have never been baptized and those baptized in another Christian tradition.
RCIA at St. Francis Borgia Church is an engaging, respectful, challenging, and ENJOYABLE journey.
