2025 Ash Wednesday-7

Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent, a sacred time of prayer, reflection, repentance, and spiritual renewal leading up to Easter.

On this day, Christians gather to remember God’s love and mercy and to reflect on our need for grace. During the service, ashes are placed on our foreheads in the shape of a cross as a sign of humility and a reminder that we belong to God. The ashes symbolize both repentance and new life.

Lent invites us into a deeper walk with Christ through prayer, fasting, giving, and acts of compassion. It is a season to slow down, refocus our hearts, and grow in faith.

Everyone is welcome to attend our Ash Wednesday services, whether you are a longtime member or visiting for the first time. Come as you are and begin this meaningful journey with us.
