St. Monica Prayer Book – NEW MINISTRY

During our recent pilgrimage to Poland, several women shared a simple but heartfelt desire: “Wouldn’t it be wonderful to gather and pray for our children?” As we talked and prayed together, it became clear that the Holy Spirit was planting a beautiful idea.

Who better to inspire such a group than St. Monica, whose steadfast prayers for her son, St. Augustine, remind us that God hears the prayers of those who never lose hope.

The St. Monica Prayer Group is a welcoming community for women of all ages. Whether you are praying for your children, grandchildren, godchildren, spiritual children, or for someone longing to become a mother, you are warmly invited to join us. Together, we will meet once a month for prayer, fellowship, and encouragement as we entrust our loved ones to the Lord.

No matter where your children are in their journey, or where you are in yours, you are not alone. Come as you are and experience the comfort of praying alongside other women who share the same hopes, joys, and concerns. Together, we will encourage one another, strengthen our faith, and place our trust in God’s loving care.

Join us for our first gathering on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. As we celebrate the Memorial of St. Monica, it is a beautiful and fitting day to begin this ministry. We will gather in the chapel to pray together, entrusting our children, families, and all those who long for the gift of children to the intercession of St. Monica.

Whether this is your first prayer group or you have prayed with others for years, there is a place for you. We would be honored to welcome you into this community of faith and friendship.

“The prayer of a faithful heart is never in vain.” We look forward to praying with you.
