With great joy, we invite all parishioners and guests to the solemn installation of the relics of the Blessed Ulma Family in our parish.
This special event will be an opportunity for us to gather in prayer and to reflect more deeply on the powerful witness of faith, love, and courage given by the Ulma family. Józef and Wiktoria Ulma, along with their children, were a Polish Catholic family who, during World War II, courageously sheltered Jewish neighbors in their home. For this act of mercy and Christian charity, they were executed by the German occupying forces in 1944. Their story stands as a profound testimony to the Gospel lived out in the most radical way, laying down one’s life for others.

May 3 is also a day of great significance for the Polish people, marking the anniversary of the Constitution of May 3, 1791a symbol of faith, unity, and national identity. This makes our celebration even more meaningful, as it beautifully unites our spiritual heritage with our cultural roots.
We extend our heartfelt “Bóg zapłać” (God reward you) to the Polish Clubs Association for their dedication and efforts in making it possible for the relics of the Ulma Family to be entrusted to our parish.
May the presence of these relics inspire us all to live the Gospel more fully in our daily lives.
